Awaken (Vinyasa Flow): This class emphasizes breathing and alignment and will provide students with the building blocks for a strong practice. Yoga Experience is encouraged but not required.
OmBoy Flow: This class is a vigorous vinyasa yoga class set to a thumpin’ soundtrack of your favorite hip-hop songs! Our flow sequences will work into deeper back bends, inversions, and arm balances. Come roll with your ‘omies while you strengthen your asana practice! *please note that the songs are played as the artists intended them and may include profanity
Slow Flow: This yoga class consists of slow vinyasa flow sequences designed to release tension and prepare your body and mind to wind down for the night. You’ll be led through creative, accessible flow sequences that bring your body and mind into balance.
Unwind: Relax the body and the mind. This class consists of slow, gentle, asana sequences with an emphasis on relaxation and meditation. It is a wonderful way to deepen your practice in a soft, supported way. It is perfect for healing and recalibrating.
Yoga Sculpting: Yoga Sculpting is designed to give you a full body workout incorporating weights into a vinyasa yoga class. Basic yoga knowledge helpful, but not required.
SCULPTING & TONING
Arms, Abs, & Assets: This class will tone and sculpt your arms, abdominals, legs, and glutes, by using your own body weight, hand-weights, and short bursts of cardio to blast calories. This class begins and ends with a bit of yoga to warm up and body and cool it down. All levels welcome.
BODYPUMP™: is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYPUMP™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography. BODYPUMP™ is designed to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories. We use carefully chosen music tracks to guide you through the class with maximum effect. The usual length of each class is 60 minutes.
COREBAR FIT™: (Functional Integration Training) is the intermediate intensity Corebar class where we pay more attention to mobility training and functional flexibility in combination with core and strength exercises. It is a thorough, energetic and FUN class, with smaller amounts of high impact training as jumping and running. The Core, Strength & Mobility part is dynamic and intense. The class always starts with a technique practice, so the actual training time is 50- 55 minutes. Have Fun, Train Hard and Get it Done!
Core, Floor, & More: This hour long class will focus on your core, but you will definitely get a full body work out. Most of the class will be done on a mat, and will include light weights, medicine balls, and bands.
Cardio Barre Blast: This hour-long, heart pumping, sweat-inducing workout combines cardio dance, barre sculpting, and mat toning for an all-around fat-blasting workout. Express your creativity with choreographed dancing (hip-hop, jazz, contemporary) and strengthen those muscles with distinct workouts for legs, butt, abs, and arms. Shoes are recommended because of high-impact cardio dance.
PIYO: As featured in Chicago Magazine “Best of Chicago’s 2011″ issue, this class is the perfect blend of Pilates, Yoga, sports stretch, dance stretch, and athletics that will help you burn calories and build muscle. The dynamic blend of movement increases strength, balance, and agility, while being easy on the mind and the joints.
Bootcamp Ballerinas: As featured in SELF magazine and www.self.com, this class is a high energy cardio strengthening and lengthening class. Small repetitive ballet barre work will tone your legs and glutes. The dynamic cardio routines that mimic true bootcamp calisthenics and plyometrics will melt away fat. This class uses multiple props for maximum results. You will feel tough and graceful all in one workout! No prior ballet experience required. Barefeet or Athletic shoes suggested.
CHEEROBIX: Come re-live past cheer routines that you love and burn calories while sculpting and toning [and smiling!] We have poms for you but feel free to BYOP. Expressing your inner cheerleader through costuming of your choice HIGHLY encouraged.
Thrill From Brazil: Get ready for 60 minutes of Brazilian heat and rhythm! This heart-pumping, non-stop, energetic cardio class will get you moving to different beats from Brazil, such as Axé, Olodum, Samba, and more! You will burn tons of calories, have a great time and enjoy the benefits of interval-training, all while shaking with lots of spice.
Yoga Booty Ballet: LA-based dynamic fusion of cardio dance, yoga, sculpting, and strength training. The dance portion improves cardiovascular endurance, promoting weight loss and improved body composition. The ballet section increases strength and agility, building muscle and bone density. The yoga sections promote flexibility, balance and inner wellness. Classes are easy to follow, designed to draw out individual self-expression, in a comfortable, non-competitive environment. After only one hour of moving to a combination of pop, hip-hop, rock, new age and classical music you’ll leave feeling refreshed, energized, and craving more. Beginners welcome.
